Extra Training Hours

Extra training hours are hours undertaken by a gymnast beyond their regular training hours.

How much does it cost?
As per gymnast regular hourly rate which depend on the number of regular weekly hours undertaken by the gymnast. Extra hours are arranged occasionally only and not regularly.

Example: A gymnast from Level X may train on Tuesdays and Saturdays but their level also have a class on Thursdays - they may occasionally join the extra Thursday class with their team and they will be billed for it as per their usual hourly rate. In cases that a gymnast does all available hours for their level they will usually not be able to take on extra hours but they may check with coach if any option exists beside private lesson).

Who can have Extra Training Hours?
In general only gymnasts who do not participate in the maximum hours available to their level, but an extra class may be considered if a number of gymnasts are interested.

How to arrange Extra Training Hours?
Ask immediate coach.

Who can authorise Extra Training Hours?
Immediate coach or Head Coach.

Conditions and limitations?
Coaches must be notified and approve. In the case that an extra class may be considered then time and floor space availability are a factor.

Private Lessons

Private lesson is a lesson undertaken by 1 - 2 gymnasts.

How much does it cost?
$50 per hour - If two gymnasts share one hour of a private lesson together then they will both be billed for 0.5 hours each which is $25 per hour.

Who can have a Private Lesson?
Everyone.

How to arrange a Private Lesson?
Ask immediate coach.

Who can authorise a Private Lesson?
Head Coach

Conditions and limitations?
Time and floor space availability.

Holiday Training

Holiday Training is available throughout all levels, it is optional but is recommended. Holiday training is a compulsory for High Performance Pathway gymnasts.

Make-up Classes

Gymnasts missing a class may be able to have a make-up class on another day at the coach’s discretion. In general no make-up classes are offered, unless the club's coach cancels the class. Any class cancelled will be made up in the first week of the school holidays or an alternative class offered if available. There will be no refund if the gymnast is unable to attend the offered make-up class.
