Training Hours
Standard Training HoursStandard Training Hours are the weekly hours that have been agreed with the club for the gymnasts and the level they participating in. National Levels (ALP) gymnasts have a recommended (maximum), and a minimum, number of training hours per week for each level. Gymnasts must be consistently training within these boundaries to meet the training requirements for the level. International Levels (HP) gymnasts have strict training hours guidelines and variations to those hours are only considered in extreme circumstances.

Extra Training HoursExtra Training Hours are those undertaken by a gymnast beyond their regular Standard Training Hours up to the maximum training hours for the level. In most cases Extra Training Hours can be undertaking but must be requested via the club administration [email protected] to ensure there is adequate training space and suitable coach to gymnast ratios are maintained.
Extra Training Hours are charged at the regular hourly rate undertaken by the gymnast. |
Private LessonsPrivate lessons can be requested and can be undertaken by 1 - 2 gymnasts. There are limited time windows for private lessons and these are set by the club to adequately manage gymnasium space and coach availability. Private lessons are an excellent way to fine tune elements and skills and is the most recommended way to have personalised routines created. All private lessons must be arranged via the club administration [email protected].
Private Lessons are charged at hourly rates that are set by the club based on the experience level and qualifications of the coach. |
Holiday Training

Make-up ClassesIn general, no make-up classes are offered. Floor space and coach to gymnast ratios are tightly managed and altering these for make-up classes can impact the training experience of others. Make-up classes will only be considered in extreme circumstances.
Any class cancelled by the club will be made up in the first week of the school holidays or an alternative class offered if available. There will be no refund if the gymnast is unable to attend the offered make-up class. |
